I want to express my appreciation to the many people of different ages, who are committed to the free service to others, both in the ecclesial community in the civil.
"Volunteering is not just a 'do': is primarily a way of being that comes from the heart, an attitude of gratitude toward life, and urges us to 'give back' and share with others the gifts received. " For this reason, the action of volunteers "should not be seen as a stopgap action against the State," but "rather as a complementary presence is always necessary to keep alive the attention to and to promote a custom style in the speeches." Therefore, there is "no one that can not be a volunteer: even the person most deprived and disadvantaged, has certainly much to share with others offering their contribution to build a civilization of love."
